    config Setting UP MuOnline on VPS

    Hi, im using an VPS on bee2host and i have this problem, im using windows server 2003 64bit, install the require upgrades packages...

    I've installed SQL 2008, put the database, put in the ODBC patterns, set up muserver.

    I've started the server everything goes fine, i enter the game BUT!! it stays for 1 minute or less then it disconnects

    Any help?

    ODBC .reg code, i changed it from (local) to my Computer name

    At where point you get disconneted?Tell us if you get disconnected after putting username and password then after 1 minute you get disconnected?Or after selecting character?

    Hi there NoLimiT, i get disconnected on the game with my character after a couple of minutes or less

    But you can get inside the game?Try to check the ports if its allowed on your VPS Firewall,or try to disable the firewall first.

    yes i can get into the game! i can walk, go to the shops, but after some time, 1 minute or less i get disconnected
    VPS Firewall? where that? if u mean windows firewall i havent installed and didnt installed any firewall at the moment

    Are you sure its not installed?As far as I know once the windows installed it comes up with windows firewall.

    this is when i press windows firewall... and any case port 44405 and 55901 are open...

    write in start> SERVICES and press enter, search for Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) > right click> enable it, re-try.

    Hi there KarLi, just went into services.msc and there is no Internet Connection Sharing (ICS), so i need to install from tapping windows firewall?

    Dude i think.. go to files\Data\commonserver.cfg and disable checksum and also that item serial check.

    PS: tell me what files u use + link and i will help ya.

    If you can already get in game it has nothin to do much with the firewall.

    Bro, the server and client are from the same creator "darks team" this problem with me and my friends, used the muserver on a laptop with windows xp 32bit and this problem dosen't happen!!!!

    But any case ill try what u said

    Okay well, u can try service pack 2 or 3 if u dont have it, and if still then change to win 2008.

    The problem there is the virtualization your hosting provider is using. That problem most likely occurs on Xen and KVM, better get a Hyper-V or VMware powered VPS.

    What is the specs of your VPS and how much does it cost monthly? If you can afford a $49 server get one from SoYouStart. They have US and EU locations.

    dont change VPS mate, just make Ticket to on the hosting and tell them to change your VPS to Normal VPS instead of Cloud and thats it !
    backup your files before and tell them to start it over and ur done.

    I told you make a ticket and tell them to make your CPUCOUNT 1 and make all your cores running, or tell them to change your VPS to normal vps.
    thats all, and becareful on skype etc, that busta got nothing to do with me.
