dont click upgrade sql, try install
if you still got the same error try download other version of sql 2008
if still the same upgrade or reinstall windows with other version patch
Can you also explain why u use sql 2008?
what files u want to use or databases?
thk i solved the problem reinstall another version of windows and worked:)
