    information SQL Server 2000

    Hello. I have one problem, I cant connect to my database on dedicated server from my PC. How can I enable remote connection to SQL Server 2000? (Firewall on dedicated server and also on my PC is disabled). Thanks for help.

    When you create the SQL user via your VPS/Dedi you need to change the HOST from localhost to your IP address, and it should work as expected.

    If your IP changes frequently, I suggest getting a VPN server, of which you can link with your SQL server, and dedi, and it becomes a lot more secure because you can't connect without having that specific VPN cert and IP range.
