    Re: Transfer VPS

    first of all you have to make backup of your databases
    2nd you need to copy server files to your vps

    and than after configuring your vps with all required softwares, sqlserver, appserv/xampp, your will have to restore your database.

    thats all

    Re: Transfer VPS

    Hi,
    It must have Windows to run as the above user said as well.
    As for the specifications - It is a bit low but for a lower sever (1 or 2 Gameservers) or ~40 users online as for a start it is ok.

    But it will not be able to hold multiple users online after you have gained popularity due to limited resources.
    I would reccomend 4 GB of RAM (SQL uses a lot in time) and more HDD Space for all needed to run the server (www / logs / database / database backup / programs). etc

    Re: Transfer VPS

    can be used for server too ;)
    vps = virtual private server
    with 2GB + and good HDD also 1ghz + = good
    but preferable = VDS virtual dedicated server ;P
