on the 1st place why you need to use VMware?
you can run client and server in one PC with no problem...

;)) i use Windows 7 x64, and have problem with GS and GSCS, and with VMWare is verry sample , but i dont know how to put ip in client.

i am using virtualbox though in virtualbox i can set up the ips client with my own isp client. i just need to configure the network hardware for the VB to use in networking and set the ip configuration of my router.
