I am interested in buying a VPS, but I do not know what exactly I need and I don't want to be overpaying.

Can you guys tell me what I specs need for :
-a mu server to support atleast 100 online
-phpbb forum
-mucore 1 0 8 website

RAM:
CPU:
HDD:
Connection Speed:
Operating system: server 2008 or windows xp?

Also can you guys recommend any VPS?

Don't use windows xp as server it ain't good for using as server (thats why windows server).

Well, very cheap vps I bought is in greencloudvps.com , cheap and trustworth, have had a VPS with them for over an year, just stopped because my needs got higher and I decided to buy myself a dedicated server at wholesaleinternet.com .

KVM Standard with 512 MB of ram with Windows or Linux = $5.

Get at least 4 GB RAM, 2 cores, 50 GB HDD and 100 Mbps upload. As OS use Windows 2008 x64.

This are minimum specs what I can recommend.
