Windows 7 x64 Problems

Hey guys, how is it going?

Anyway, I saw this issue several times in here, but no one seem to come up to a solution. I've managed to create all Mu Databases with SQL 2008 (since 2000/2005 were not working), but my problem now is initializing the "links" used to start the server.

Here's a list of link and what happens to each of them:

- JoinServer: Despite running at Task Manager, I can't see it;
- Cs: Shows and runs correctly;
- DataServer1 and 2: "[MapServerMgn] file load error - iInitSetting Value:19 (SVR:0) - 1", "Map Server Data error", after that it keeps running and after one or two minutes it appears visually to me;
- Exdb: Shows, but freezes as soon as it appears;
- ChatServer: Runs, but won't connect due to Exdb, which won't work;
- Ranking: Runs at task manager, doesn't appear at screen;
- EventServer: Runs properly;
- GameServer: Runs properly, won't connect because others fail;

If anyone had similarly problems and can help, I'd be very thankful. Also, if I forgot to mention something, please point it out.

Try different server files,some will work or be more compatible with your OS than others.I however,downgraded my win7 64 to 32 bit...yeah only 3GB RAM left from 12GB,but server runs flawless and stable.Only one anoyinf thing is,that on win7 64 or 32 bit i always need to wait 5-10 minutes for Joinserver to run

I'm not sure dude, but if you want, try this: Mouse - right click over the application> Properties > Compatibility > Run this programin compability mode for > Windows XP (Service Pack 3). But The Way: install service pack 4 for the sql server 2000 and it will work?

Hmm... apparently it was the server, indeed.

Can anybody recommend me a good server season 2+ which will work on Win7 x64? Didn't find a single one that'd work so far.

use it with SQL 2000sp4(it shows errors but it still works)
