It's the same as with other OS.
Do you have Windows8.1 and did try it out ?
Or your just assuming that's working ???

You might be setting up the ODBC wrong.

I tryied to much to belive it without PROOF.
AND I DID ODBC BY HOW THE TUTORIAL SHOWED ( I THOUGHT THE SAME THING THAT IM DOING IT WRONG ).
All problem solved, I buy a DEDICATED HOST! :)))

Ok but yes it does work on windows 8.1 and windows 8 i built many mu servers all the same on all OS.
i use win 8.1 and it work fine for me good luck.
