I get this error every time i make a MU server . I have created Mu servers from S2 to S6 in just 48 houres and using client provided by suplier i cant connect. Here is what i have now :
Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 Edition
Intel quad core CPU Q8300 @ 2.50 GHZ
12 GB RAM .
I have installed now MFS Team Season 5
With server i got client and i have edited in Main.exe the ip address of my gameserver. Serial on Main.exe is the same as in data/lang/kor/commonloc.cfg
Ip Addreses have been set in all the needed files.
I am using MSSQL 2000 (sqleval.exe) and i have created 3 databases (MuOnline , Ranking , MU2003_EVENT_DATA) and i have restored each of them with proper backup file.
Now ... the server is working since i get in console messages like : Devil Square event will start in ,...

Why the hell i cant connect to that server ?

I have the same problem.

I'm using server files and client provided from http://forum.ragezone.com/f197/creat...on-6-a-911198/ thread .

In my case, nobody else except me can connect to the server. Anyone else would get the message "new version of game is required. Please download new version."

The .exe file from the client provided seems fine, as I checked version with hex editor. Even did the converting and everything to penta-check .exe file. Converter from here http://iampablo.cba.pl/projectmu/calculator.php

Even changed the config.cfg found in clients folder. Version there matches .exe and server configs, although I'm not sure about that ''testversion''.

IP's seem to be in the right place as they can connect and select server/subserver without a problem. Only after they select sub-server they get that error.

While I tried to fix the problem, changing version everywhere, I would start to get the same problem, that I need to download a new version. That didn't make sense, because everything worked fine for me before.

Serials are fine too. Both .exe and servers match by default.

Now, when I check SCF_Config, I see this:
[GameServerInfo]

SCFClientVersion=1.08.34

Everywhere else it's 1.03.52


I did try to change both .exe and server files to 1.08.34 (22;79 in .exe), but then I'd still get the same problem and even "disconnected from server" error.

Now I'm back at ground-zero, where the client works for me, but doesn't work for anyone else.

Maybe someone could help me out on this? any ideas? This doesn't make any sense to me.
