whats SARO.EXE? is that a modified sakexe? you'll get an error like if your client exe is more advanced than your client .grf files. update your client.

i did update my client
manually though, using grf packer
any .exe file i use does exactly the same thing.
i tried getting the dll file it mentioned but that didnt do anything either.

Posting that error doesn't really help. What would help is if you can explain in details where you went when the error appeared.

ok heres what happened
i installed kro and ksakray
then i updated them manually, by using grf packer like in ur post
then whenever i go to start up RO and the loading screen gets up to 99% i get that error
no matter what client.exe i use.

nm figured it out, it has somethin to do with my sdata, or data.grf, they didnt patch correctly when i followed the guide i guess, im ganna try again

Erm....just use the alternative patchers, they actually download from the same FTP, even I use it :icon6:
