i need help for running gf.exe on a non-WinXp OS

SORRY dude but this is hopeless!

GRF FACTORY was designed to use with NT Technology.
which means you can only use it with XP, NT, 2000 & 2003 SERVER.

Why not try GRFIO for your GRF files.

Use this DOS command extractor.

Simple Guide:

1) Download the attached file in zip. And extract it in your RO Client folder where you will find rdata.grf, data.grf, sdata.grf etc.

2) Commands:

grfextract - extracts data.grf by default
grfcreate - repacks data.grf

If you want to extract rdata.grf only

- You must rename data.grf to data2.grf or something else
- Rename rdata.grf to data.grf

- Go to RUN and type command for the DOS console
- And go to your RO Client folder with 'cd' command.

- type grfextract to start the extraction
- after editing the client files, type grfcreate
- to repack the grf into data.grf

- rename data.grf to rdata.grf and rename data2.grf (the original data.grf) to data.grf

3) See the readme.txt from the zipped file for infos and credits.
