okay well i start my server it runs fine but then when i get into and make mychar and hit play i get server closed the upon checking the cmd window things it says some maps are missing ??? help me

Sorry to be a pain, but whenever I hit the 'char-server' application inside of the 'athena' folder, it flashes a black screen to show that it tried, but then immediately shuts down. Unfortunately (but to be expected) my other servers (map server and login server) are unable to connect to the missing server. Thanks in advance.
Ok, I have more information. I used 'Start/run/cmd/c:\\athena\char-server.exe' and it displayed the error message: "Configuration file not found: conf/char_athena.conf" Of course I immediately checked the file and found it to be there, I'm a little lost and so any help would be sorely apreciated.
I got some problems... I can start the server and login and play but.... When you talk to NPC's there is no text and you cant answer them. and its no text when you are at the login list. Help me please.

hi, I have a problem. I followed your advise and run my troublesome map-server.exe on cmd. I also downloaded and installed resnametable.txt to my RO folder but I still get this error
"D/Program Files/Gravity/RO/sdata.grf file reading..."
"D/Program Files/Gravity/RO/sdata.grf read error"
"data/resnametable.txt not found"
do I have to insert this resnametable into data.grf??

ok i start up the run server.bat and the log in server is fine and the map server gets going and the char server says attempt to connect to login server....... and then t says failed to connect (connection #4) after a bit.
i have all the IP addresses the same and it is still not connecting to the login server
is there any hope?
wheni try to log in using requestedaccountname_M it says cannot connect to server, what do i do?
