I'm sorry what? I opened quickbms, then it tells me to open a file. What file do I need to open?

just open dragonnest script unpack then PAK files of dragon nest

I dont know why but none the servers are "green" ..
But they all run successfully and I can login. Just that the world list is empty. Any help will be appreciated

you'll not get better answer if you will not try anything first. i did said it can be fixed with another client exe, based on my experienced but it will prompt another bug, so its either to try it or not. there's 2 server which i know still using the same client.exe in this release which is 175 and rio dn.

Where did you get gameres from on riodn site? Does it come with full client download?
Okay I figured out how to unpack. So after I unpack the resources of client files, what do I do with them after? How do I modify/fix them?

i did download the full client and patch, then unpack it. the unpacked files become GameRes, you should know that because you're using it.

nothing happen ?

So, I unpack and then use that to make the gameres? Is that it? What about client resources? Do I edit those and then repack them again?

Why would you repack again the client resource??you're unpacking client resource to make GameRes for the server side. after unpacking it make a folder named GameRes and put the resource and mapdata inside of it, then cut the whole gameres folder and paste it in the server side.

Ok guys I can't get my head around this.

I've followed the tutorial and get the login error, so I switched to the other DB's that were released, but now I can't even get the DB server to run.

Errors I get:

SQLError #SQLDriveConnect # (08001) 17, [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

'18:34:48' Not Connect MembershipDB Ip:127.0.0.1 Port:1433 DBName:DNMembership DBID:DragonNest

I really can't get my head around it, I do not have a firewall or AV installed and the windows wall is off and I made exceptions just in case.

I've edited the TCP for 1433. ( Do we edit the dynamic port to what his says?, it does not fix it, just not sure if it was needed )

I've done everything perfectly correct as far as I can tell, just can't work out why it wont work, obviously I've done something wrong lol

Any help would be appreciated, I've also tried using both passwords for both DB's and that didn't help either lol

Ohhhhh! Wow thanks @kennethz008 okay I think I can do this and help with bug fixes now. Or I'll atleast try.

Also you said you downloaded the patch as well? What do I do with the patch?

umm how do i add a [GM] infront of my name i know some of you might think its a noob question but i want to know and while i am at it there is another issue with the exp showing a different not correct one in game but in character screen it says the correct lvl so basically in game im lvl 3 and in character screen im lvl 1(correct lvl) so? apparently i fix it by replacing the playerleveltables.dnt but i dont know how?

Go to where your server files are, go to gameres and replace the file with the new one. Not hard, if you didn't know where playerlevel file was to replace it, you also couldve used the search bar function.
