[Release/Share] v2126/v335 Server & Client +Fix

What I did :
- Add 10.6.11.11 on the ethernet IP in VPS (not KMS Loopback)
- Install server on VPS, extract
- Open MSSQL without changing the DB
- Running 0ALL-START.bat and all open up, not closed
- Change the client LocalURL.ini, x3.xem IP to VPS
- Run client start.bat
got this error, what should I do? lol, ada yg bisa bantu wkw

Again like I told you on the other thread, that is NOT the log of the CLIENT but the LAUNCHER, which tells you exactly what it says. You can not connect to the webserver, which can be caused by multiple things. The most common one would be that you didn't change the LocalURL.ini to the IP address of your server. But since you say you changed that already, I expect the webserver to not be running or not accessible.

You do not have to change the names in the MSSQL, but you need to make sure the names in the \config\*.ini are the same as the ones in your database if you run it over the NetLauncherD.exe and ServiceManagerExD. If you run it over the 0ALL Start.bat, you need to make sure all the database names are the same as well (Typically the database names are mentioned after,DragonNest,).

Also did the client work for you locally (on the same machine as your server is running or not)?

Things to answer:
-Did you test if your webserver works locally and remotely (from the same machine and another machine) and does that works?
-Can you ping the server IP from another machine?
-Did you test if your client works on the same machine as your server and does that works?


Invalid request (what you currently have), can be caused by a webserver not running. And since you both have an error in your launcher and as well in your client at the login, I kind of expect you do not have a webserver running currently.

And yes this is possible (invalid request). I had it myself after I forgot to install PHP on my IIS webserver...

@Frozenn Dude you are my hero, first of all I changed the x3.xem file, but that wouldn't make a difference for me. Thanks to you pointing out the file I figured out that notepad++ (in hex mode) and hxd hex editor sort of corrupt the files for me. (without an error prompt) after I tried the same with the iceclient.dll I found out the issue (gave me an error) and used "Hex editor Neo" instead. And tada I can connect from public now. Thank you very much, you saved this girl lots of future hair pulling <3

Thanks to you pointing out the file I figured out that notepad++ (in hex mode) and hxd hex editor sort of corrupt the files for me. (without an error prompt) after I tried the same with the iceclient.dll I found out the issue (gave me an error) and used "Hex editor Neo" instead. And tada I can connect from public now.
