Corum Online is the best mmorpg game ever for me. I know its old and got sh!ty graphics, but it has that something in it, that makes me wanna play it again. The problem is - all servers are dead so im lookin for someone, who could run private one. [srry for my English ;P]

Re: Corum Online Server and Database Files

Mak would you be able to re-upload these files or share elsewhere?

    Thanks

    Update:
I answered my own question and found them here..Although they are probably not all the same and a re-upload would still be nice.

However I'm having some issues re-referencing/ getting all the dll's to work. Can anyone help with this? The debug says "Path not found" for the lines that contain the referenced dll. The lines look like this:

    #include "/..CommonServer/global.h"

I am thinking it is an issue with the target framework version and still need Visual Studio 2010 sp1 to be added?

Re: Corum Online Server and Database Files

just to tell you regenc these files are incomplete

that's why you get such issues.
I had to buy better working server files and tools etc for 600$

which work much better then these files.

as you may not know im am the creator of corum legacy private server. till I gave it over to another user witch failed it.
but I have all working newer files ..

though battledungeon corum online is the best server of corum online. which I am gm of. you should check out that game if you haven't already

Re: Corum Online Server and Database Files

Thanks for the heads up rami

I started noticing missing header files and bad linking/ issues with dll's and started looking into exporting functions into libraries to try and stub out the missing source files. It's really looking like a mess without the files you mention. I don't mind piecing things together, but really don't feel like getting into rewriting every little include and reference line...

For me its just the challenge of the project and getting it working to play on localhost as more of an RPG then an MMO. I most likely wouldn't try to take it to the multi-client level, mostly because I don't even have the resources.

This thread might be better off without all the how-to's of directories and what not. You do have to do quite a bit of research and work up front. I'm sorry to hear all the trouble you went through to get the right files...This game has taken way more then enough money from some. Hopefully it can give back with servers like battledungeon and your old legacy server.

join battledungeon view in full mode of picture above..

not sure if people don't know about battledungeon but please do join if you haven't.

I can give you detailed info how to set the server up 'regenc' but its much more then just easy.
it took weeks for me to figure it all out without any info.

this was least 7 years ago when I started the corum exdios project and then went into the legacy.
need to know how to do it just email me I sent you a message for it.

theres a lot of time I put into the database and tools I created for it, and files I did... sorry to say I don't have sourcecode. the user wouldn't sell me the sourcecode so I had to do binary and hex to decode the exes and make chanes to make this all work.
