True and aside from all the 'patch changes' that they roll out... Not that they're all 'bad' per se. But I support a Battle.Net emulator... they had it for D1/D2 so why not D3? Also sometimes people can't always pay for internet usage/bills or are on limited bandwidth. The game requires a constant connection to the net. Which sucks added to the fact they ripped Out of the box LAN matches. There's probably 4 copies of D2 & LOD (Legit) around this house scattered. From when me and my friends used to play all night. I plan on purchasing a retail version of D3 too cos I love the series. ^^;;

if that doesn't help, then your PC/laptop probably doesn't have any graphic card supported.

Maybe I am doing something wrong, but when I start the server and then try to connect to the game with said fake account name and password, it authenticates but it stops on the character list. :S Any ideas?

Yeah, I even moved the map from the map folder to the specified location in the server folder, and nothing. :\

Use " BEFORE & AFTER in your shortcut.
Example: "C:\GAMES\DIABLO III\Diablo III.exe" -launch -auroraaddress 127.0.0.1:1345

Nope. I have the latest DirectX. My DirectX Diagnostic Tool says that Direct3D Acceleration is Enabled and no problems found.

@wesman you can try to buy a cheap graphic card, i think around 20-30 ones should work, my other pc with GeForce 9400 GT cards work fine can play as high setting with dual core only. and my brother's laptop almost the same as yours with integrated Intel graphic which can play StarCraft 2 at low setting lol i haven't test D3 on his laptop yet maybe the same result as yours :)

@extrata, so far almost like retails beta server but mobs can't move and attack players yet with the latest built as i known of :)

@NewbieMaker you can look at Tinkle's post he already mentioned it. And hit your spacebar then add -launch -auroraaddress 127.0.0.1:1345 to your D3 shortcut :)it's simple it likes you use that address to connect to your server not connect to D3 official server.

Thanks, but nah. I don't have the money right now to buy anything. I think i might be able to play if the client had a feature to play in a low settings. As far as I could see, there was nothing like that yet.
