Hey there.
I want to convert the .DB Files from the DP-Client.
I dont know how i can do this. If somebody can tell me what i must do, i would be very happy. I try to open/convert the Files now for more than 5 Months :/

I am working on re-using the old RoM DB Viewer that was part of the first two versions of the FDB Extractor.
Dont hold your breath waiting on me, though.

I tried this tool but it looks really bad the conversion xd but well if you guys is useful nice... (i picked from old post so its not mine, and i dont know if its safe or not, i used and my pc still there... did a virus scan and all ok, but you know... use at your own risk)

You guys in setings.sc in dbserver use ( [name-pc]\instance_of_SQL_server ) n? lets say Hjasie754\SQL2012....

Give the user created in the SQL server the db_owner on the master db...

So in the settings.sc i put the user created with the password encrypted with the tool... and still see the TestDbConnect failed thing... if i use what berdalius post... but if i use my compiled binaries nothing show... the rest of things connects eachother... master with host etc... (cannot see the rest still xd )

But well in monitor if i put the account/password ( the ones i created before in the SQL ) it says login failed...Please check etc... is that the account i need to use? or i need to create one? (i tried also but nothing changes i mean cant pass this brickwall...)

Ah well is SQL 2012 enterprise good to use?....

I was able to upload something with my bad connection.
Its a project from when not much was released regarding RoM server.
Basically its the fields.csv from FDB Extractor in combination with a simple Viewing Tool.
Nothing special, of course, but sometimes simple is best.

Recently, I have patched 120 patch files to the client (uploaded by @DjFerry), finally fond the matching client version: 2.2.1498.

i think around or more than 128 gb.... with all open. According to docu specs. ( if im not mistaken or miss understood what tells there ) but well you always can do as in RoM xd if you play 3 zones open those zones, when you pass those zones, close one open next :P

And well also require nice cpu, as i see 6 cores are used . So you need more than 8 i supose 16 or so to go "well" i imagine.... ( o well uses intel xeon e5-2630 that has 10 lol ) and uses 2 per zone, game db, etc... so well i think more than just 6 cores... xd but well dunno if this specs are correct... or im reading ok jaja i hope we can runit xd as we (atleast me xd) dont plan to open a server for ppl... so i imagine reqs are lower in our case....

well, bypassed login part of monitor to create one account with econded account / pass, Managerlist created,recompiled monitor without bypass and now i can finally login... i use my compiled binaries since the ones berdalius post, uses sqlite form versus the ones i compiled using .ini, and for some reason with the berdalius the nodes crashes when i open monitor...

All nice now i have all i created with config tool, even using the "berdalius" config server of pool groups etc... in my monitor, i cant right click and start services,etc... anybody happened this and want to share his experience with this? xDDD (you know only when desesperate measures i come here to ask...) but its driving me crazy xd nodes seems ok since i can see are working both.... (well im managing now to see why they tellme that cant acces some files dunno if is this what its making the thing cant right click... as i debugged the monitor crash with berdalius files and its related to error 5 etc.. but well...)


So if someone faced this problem , and its kindly to share his experiences with that... nice!



Edit: Ok... solved... the problem remains when account created in ManagerList, Manager field should be 4095 instead of 1.

as i test and always when i post here, the solution came alone... so well, guys you know why is happening this when i create a character? the name says is already in use but logs says another thing... there is no name is my first char xd

this is not geting the correct values n?(im really new in coding so, maybe im missinterpreting all xd)

the thing is,from where is getting those values? because my DB i did the compare schema thing and all is correct, no errors when i put all the global/world things up... even in logs dont tell me hey this here, is missing a column...as it did in the past before the whole DB fix... so i dont know really where to see to fix this.

It happnes just at the end of creating the character... before all goes well. So i asume its not getting the DBID from (i dont know where...) since creating account uses playeraccount... later when log it autocreates in roledata... i tried adding this DBID colums but no luck xd
