Flyer8472, what you do is simple piracy.
It's illegal to steal source code and use it as your own even if you removed it from github.
You can find the original owner of the Wolf3D source in the copyright.html file and on the site Wolfenstein 3D HTML5

Or at least you should know what you are talking about.
The game doesn't use any WebGL code so it runs perfectly in IE9 too.
Saved games are not stored in cookies, but in the HTML5 LocalStorage.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me (the owner of the code).
    Thanks!

Well, its not exatly an MMO's but its entertaining retro :D and
it can be used to make an own mmo based on this and websocket.

All of theese games run in web browsers purely in webgl/canvas/
html5/javascript, without ANY additional emulation or something like it.

All games are 100% full and working ones, all you need is a proper
web browser and a hosting provider.

Yes its a full game, with all 82 Levels(Including the secret

Its the midway's classic game from C64 its an 1:1 C64 Conversion,
that means its not an emulator but a 100% Perfect repro!

    --------------------------------------------------------------

Impossible Mission game C64 version converted into HTML5:

    Download full source:
    imp1_fixed

It is a full game, with all of the c64 palettes, and manual.
Upload to a server, and open with Chrome/Firefox/Nightly
still not emulating anything :D its a genius remake :D
(This game repro is working without server hosting, just
    extract and play)

    --------------------------------------------------------------

    Usage(All scripts):
    1. Download a Repo
    2. Extract it on a Server(It wont work correctly from your hdd it will need WAMP or LAMP envrionment)
    3. Open the adress with any Webgl/HTML5/CANVAS capable browser.
    4. Play.

All program is a clone, and it is rewritten from scratch. I do
not claim anything, theese scripts are maded by excellent
    programmers.

Oh one more thing: The games stores the saves/scores in JSON and Cookies on your machine so you must enable cookies for it!

    Have fun! More games coming!

The OP never claimed to be the developer of the source code, and is just sharing his finds from the internet with the RaGEZONE Community. Please re-read the last part: "I do not claim anything, theese scripts are maded by excellent programmers."

I have no problems with you claiming that you are the rightfull owner - but please, don't come in here posting copyright claims. If you do not agree with such a thing, the best thing you can do is PM a Super Moderator/MentaL.

Not sure what your claim here is for or why you're doing it. If it's because you feel the OP is trying to claim it as their own work, check the bottom few lines of their post where they don't claim to be the developer. If the issue here is you want the github URL included in the OP then that can be sorted.

Re: HTML5 - Retro emulators - Browser based

I did never claimed that this is mine, but it has GPLv2 licence(even in YOUR SITE has the document, in the very first page(At the further information part.). So; if you dont like it change the licence itself!!!)

    On your host storage:
    http://users.atw.hu/wolf3d/COPYING.txt

Its an excellent code, and it just ment to be shared not steal, yes you are the developer, and anyone who has a browser can obtain this code, and it is now cannot be forked. It is not piracy. And btw the html5 code is itself is opensource, so if you dont want to be obtained from anyone, and the code itself is spread, then make it encrypted or something like this... But dont do it under an internet publicity licence and then make moanings if someone has the entire src code... Oh BTW i will change thechnical details too about saving and ect...

Oh and i made clear now on ANY readme and description that i am not a developer of this code.
(And i did not left github becouse of you or anyone, i left gihub cuz i found a better code handling
solution, if you are watch closely i have moved all of my projects too...)

Re: HTML5 - Retro emulators - Browser based

Oh its not only me... as far as i seen there are plenty of similar arguments all over the sources and emus in the forum other topics, so excuse me if i wont cry and jump under a bus so I was expecting you, so... whatever. You even read the details? But hey! Its the feature when you are repacking/resharing something you will be f... i did learned that.

After the funtravi Affair, i was not expecting any better from you... i am done talking with you i dont want any speech with you only what conserns moderation, ok? And if you check the details it is not stealing, but i am the idiot to start arguing with you... You are determined one thing and me too an other. NEVER will agree on a thing, you know what? People can hate me, people can accuse me, i did not anything wrong. I am know it, and you can think as you want. DOES-NOT-CARE.

Re: HTML5 - Retro emulators - Browser based

Alright guys, lets get back on-topic. Sometimes this things happen, and as Junkers said there is nothing wrong here in this thread. From now on, just discuss the release - and lets end this discussion. So every next post regarding such things will just be deleted.

Don't worry Flyer - you did nothing wrong, sometimes such people as the developer of this game overreact. You did a great share, thank you for it.

Re: HTML5 - Retro emulators - Browser based

This is a nice share. Especially Wizard of War brings back great memories.
Now what i really would love to see, is a port of the original Oil Imperium ( Black Gold ) from the C64 / Amiga / PC.
I know there is actually a browser game ( Oil Empire ) that takes the game to the next level, but i rather like the original game.

    Anyway, keep those games coming.

    regards

Re: HTML5 - Retro emulators - Browser based

Well i dont know wich game you talking about but lets clear one thing:

Wolfeinstein 3D - Has sound on almost every browser but you MUST upload to somewhere this game
Wizard of Wor - Sound only in Chrome or Nightly - and JUST if you are upload to somewhere...
Impossible Mission - Sound only in chrome/Nightly

At least for me that was the only way...(I tested it on LAMP/UNIX systems, *NOT* on WAMP)

Oh and one thing neither of this is EMULATOR in a classic meaning... XD They are remakes..

OS: WIndows XP 32 bit and Windows 7 32 bit.
    No sound(

On the demo game (Wolfenstein 3D HTML5) with sound.
