Instafight - new 2d indie rpg

Me an my friend Alexander, made this game called Instafight, and we are launching an alpha version on01/03/2012 this is our dream game and we really want people to check it out, so fell free to join our live stream at the launch event.

It will be a RPG survival with quests, mobs, all that kind of stuff - our goal is to make it MMORPG.

Cool little game :) I'll definetely try it out.

It looked cool. Then I watched the trailer, and it's just some guy editing a sprite. There's basically no info about the game at all, nor screenshots or videos. And you charge 9$ for access to an alpha version. I think these facts speak for themselves.

Keep up the posting, we take all good or bad critics and use them to improve our game. Its only alpha so remember its nothing close to a big game.... YET ;-)

I appreciate your courage in posting about your game here. Despite the negative posts to the thread. Ragezoners are hardasses (and usually don't actually create games or anything at all for that matter - from scratch) so don't let them discourage you.

I think it's a great idea and there's certainly a thriving 2D game genre. Lots of us old timers love games like this - takes us back and I for one can easily get over graphics when it's a good game!

Pretty obvious you used the source of Notch's Ludum Dare project.
All the sprites are only a recolor as well.
As for now, it doesn't have enough content to be original.
Indie development is about using your imagination to create something original.

I do have to agree with a lot of the criticism, also id like to point out... the game looks so damn empty, and doesn't look like to have any objective, and why the hell are you trying to sell it?

I played demo for 1 minute and quitted,Like omnija said its completly empty.There is nothing to do.HP Bar.etc Really looks so basic.

Like someone else here mentioned, this is basically an exact replica of Notch's ( Markus Persson ) FREE game called Minicraft.

You want people to pay for your ripped version and ignore the far superior free version?!

Good luck with that. Come up with something original or at least something you've actually done yourself. Cloning existing ideas is just harmful to your credibility.
