You know, I really really hate to say this but the company has definite balls to be developing this game if this game isn't fake (which it doesn't look like it to have 2 hours of gameplay).

To have a cult for BROnies and then appeal to them to a video game like this...is just...GENIOUS. The actual gameplay looks better than most fighting style games and it really reminds you of the marvel vs. capcom style of arcade play.

It's not fake :) And Hasbro actually allows us to do this kind of stuff. It's why you see literally thousands of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic videos on YouTube. Alterations, changes in music, anything. They see it as Free Advertising and Spread. Hasbro loves the brony community, they actually recognize us in their show and commercials sometimes. Our relationship with Hasbro is one of the reasons why the brony community is so popular.

Now, it is actually a Marvel vs. Capcom style of play since it borrows the Dial-a-combo gameplay, with supers and all. The gameplay is actually really good. The developers have put in days of time for this game, the animations, the characters, and even the backgrounds look simply amazing. Everything is designed, coded, and created by them too, even the music. The only thing you can really say isn't by them is the fighter maker engine they made it off of, and the voice actors they hired. And really you're combining two of my favorite things: ponies and games. It really is genius.

Unfortunately, Mane6 got hit with a "Cease and Desist" order automatically slapped on them on the eve of the game's release.

As a result, Mane6 has disbanded and stopped all of the development of the game, long after everyone poured SO MUCH effort into this. It's quite senseless, they should have used the Cease and Desist before all of the expenses were made. The Mane6 company can no longer afford to go on, even with their own games, under a re-branded corporate identity, as they now have nothing to feature their programming talents with. Bankrupted, pretty much. One less competitor.
