If you have no experience with Linux, programming or game development, you have no business trying to set up or run your own server.
Do yourself a favor and spent a few years learning these subjects before diving into something you know not about.

I mean maybe they aren't trying to set up their own server for other people but want to play it as a single player game. Just like wow repacks or the youtubers that put up already set up vms. Though all the youtubers are like vietnamese or something but every now and then they post a vm in English. This one was posted on a youyubers channel called loulx gaming or something. I just downloaded and played. What's wrong with that?

It's easy to create an account, there is an integrated website.
You just have to open your web browser and enter :
http://192.168.200.100
or
http://192.168.200.128
It depends on the version you're using
