Hey guys, sorry to dig up this thread, but following the steps outlined in the tool, I still could not get mobs to spawn. I successfully edited both NPC.IRD and NPC.IRH and replaced the old ones with the edited ones, but there are still no mobs. Could someone post a more complete set of steps to get this to work?
btw, to get the '?'s to be Japanese characters, just change the region language settings for non-unicode characters to Japanese and the text will be Japanese characters.

Turning off shadows fixes the floor textures for some reason. (wasn't clear before)
