I am aware that there have been threads about this before, perhaps not the same as what I choose to write here, but similar cases.
I'm pretty new here, but do not judge me for the lack of posts or that im a newbie to ragezone in general.
I am an experienced player from the game Runes of magic and wonder why there are so few private servers for this game?
I am aware that the files are difficult to obtain, and the emu is not so easy to make.
but still.
There are two private servers i know of ''or should i say one'' why not more?
I have previously played at Rom4u, but I can not stand to be a member of a server where everything is permitted, with all i mean (hacking, boting and cheating).
It destroys the game experience, not to mention the economy, which is very important in all MMORPG's.
Have also played on Xor-RoM for several months, but the server does not seem to move on from the OBT, although a few weeks ago, they said that it was Live, but there were still bugs and no improvements from the last OBT.
Which was a shame, since I finally had the belief in a server out of the ordinary.
(Now both the server and the website down, possibly because they does not have the time or resources to maintain it)
I am a bit sad, why should it be so difficult?
I have great passion for Runes of magic, but this is annoying.
All I want an a ''perfect'' private server, which keeps the original standards, but which is unique compared to the official.
Too much to ask for?
What do you think about this?
Do you also have a desire for something similar?
