Not quite true, they use HackShield Pro - HackShield - Hacking Prevention Solutions For Online Games this.
I'm sure someone has found out a way to bypass this, or at least tried. In any case, this is the protection you'd probably have to look into first.
There are a lot of game that has that hackshield but exploited already.. I guess it's possible but none just wanna try?
Well, there was a person, Finella, who reversed engineered the game to find every little detail about the game. Their blog was taken down thanks to a warning from CAVE, I would probably say that it wouldn't be a majorly hard problem, considering someone has pretty much cracked the game wide open. As far as I know, they haven't done anything to prevent any one doing it again, so who's to say it wouldn't be just as easy to do again?
