when i try user and pass the client shows an error and closes

also idk if it related but server windows say failed to bind ,maybe its failing to bind the ip

thanks man another good server for my collection!i own almost 300 now
quick note for everyone,if you optimize the vm and disable all windows related stuff,services and shut down explorer.exe it only uses
2,9 gb ram so i saved 1100 mb of ram to run the game better
idk which password encode it uses in database,md5 doesnt works (it says invalid login when i tried to make an account)i think is sha32
but the account 123456 123456 worksalso i fowarded the ip 192.168.200.128 and now it works on lan
Shizuka is a nickname i use since Tera online, for all my female characters





edit:the game server the 10th one fked up itself for no reason,when i conect to game server again it crashes
I CANT REOPEN THE SERVER IDK WHAT HAPPEND
also client has a huge memory leak and lags badly now

edit 5:i re extracted the vm,checking what could be wrong
also the client is making the SBServer\Exe\SBServer.exe crash

EDIT 6 MINIMUM RAM REQUIRED FOR SERVER IS 3,3 GB
CLIENT USES MORE THAN 4 AND IS BADLY OPTIMIZED
with my dual core 4 ghz amd athlon and 8 gb ram ddr3 kingston(OVERCLOCK) i managed to run the game super laggy at 13 fps
and i cant attack anything cause of the lag,takes like 10 seconds to aim and shot
cpu usage is around 75% but THE WHOLE SERVER+CLIENT use more than 8 gb ram to run smooth

Could you report your progress? is the game work properly? until what level?

@gunse not enough ram to test further,i can create char and loging into the world and i see some mobs around
i asked @orion13 if its possible to extract the files from the vm so i can put them in my host pc and test the game more
as my screenshot shows the game works but thats all i can manage to do cause it lags terribly

the server side still uses 3gb ram(2,8 ish sometimes)
and the client is a huge mess in unreal engine,even forums dated show that it never optimized

I FIXED IT!!!
minim ram 2,8 gb
set the vm to 1 core
and you CAN NOT run chat server(thats the one fking up the whole server idk if i can disable more server services i will test)
disable physx in game(its the last video option ) 800x600
and it runs at 45fps

only me,i wont open anyway
but i made it work,testing server without logserver.exe
that would reduce ram usage a lot too,cause game writes logs of everything on serverside(theres a bat to delete logs too)

if you lower the vm ram to less than 2,8 the game and server lag

With Gamecoast, we did have a 32gb Ram server and still lags with 20~30 players.
