How to make the 9dragons US Server files working.

ok everying is up and running guys. server is online. I pick a user name from database and password "test123" But i keep getting login fail. any ideas?

Did u manually change the password for the Username u picked from the database or not? If not than the password should be "9d123". if so and you have changed the password using the Script that was given i dont see why it wouldnt let you log in as i have changed passwords and so far i havent had any issues logging in. Try picking a new username from the DB and using the pre registered 9d123 password and see if lets you into the game, if not theres something wrong.

****Btw i was thinking maybe some one should post their updated progress with the server and new client, maybe i will when i get around to it but currently working on other servers atm****

ok i got past the login server ( thanks) but now its hanging on the game server.Any ideas

u sure u had at least 1 game server on ?

yes tiao server is reading pleasant. i log in but it stalls when connecting to game server

Just thought I'd ask, I noticed that the quickbms extractor is not extracting all the files from certain .XP files. The MR_BASEMODEL being one of them. The .XP file itself is roughly 299 megabytes, but when you extract it there is only 40 meg worth of content and no weapon models or character models. I was wondering if anyone knew of a tool that could do it before I began writing one.

whch one is the bamboo map its not listed on mapcontrol?

19 is bamboo. (While others may offer a different opinion, I recommend not using the map control as it devours resources.)

i launch all my maps individually from common white and black folders and find im able to launch maps with more maps with more RAM left over

To work the script needs to be copied into your c:\scripts directory and is contained in my share under the script directory (Start9dServer.bat)




once the DS Server is started completely (it will need something like 30 seconds normally) open the DS_SERVER window
press ESC
write
set server open
press enter
(This will open the server)

Now launch the maps
There is one shortcurt for each map inside svrctl
launch at least bamboo

already done.

I take back everything I said about not being able to use the latest client. I have it almost working as is and it only shows my server.

All I did was replace the new ndreg with the old one and the new NINEDRAGONSUS.INI with the old one and the NDTEXTDB_US.XSD with the old one.

you are replace wrong i mean. dont replace more only ndreg.xrg and maybe dont use NDTEXTDB_US.XSD old when loading have ?????????. Test with my ndreg.xrg working here
