That's great news! Although it's quite strange, I will try it myself soon. Just one question, though: does the localhost client work? I mean, can you connect to the server from the very same machine? Because it would save me quite a lot of RAM to dual boot instead of running a VM :).
@goodccs Well, I have the server running on a Windows Server 2003, just as recommended in the tutorial, and I can connect easily from another PC in my LAN that is running Windows 8.1. At the same time, a friend of mine with 8.1 had no luck with GameGuard and never could connect to my server, but I believed that to be more of a network issue than an OS issue.

You mean - make a server on localhost and, at the same time, running a client? Yes, it's possible and working. Just made my server like that.

i have one vm with win server 03 r2 x64, another machine with xp sp3 and so win 8.0 on run vm, these machines can connect good, my problem is my laptop with win 8.1 and gg closing conection. and both clients win xp and win 8.1 conect from via wifi.

woot.Seems finally i got Gm client.The holy grail has finally been delivered.I will test it out and post link later if it works ok.

ahhh. i put my faith in someone on facebook who said he will send me gm client .its a complete hoax. sorry to disappoint you all.I have deleted the culprit from my facebook. sorry guys

any1 has done with ref clothes on 9d offline? can u gimme some information?

server works fine now. the only problem remaining is when someone else goes to log a char they time out on connecting to game server.any ideas?

It's a firewall issue. I turned it off completely then it worked.

firewall is completely off
but i do have a slow upload speed if that makes any difference

u need download again server file and redo server.(don't need instlall SQL,apache if they work without error).

i guess you're running your server on a newer OS.

Hey guys, I just made 9D offline server. But I don't know how to get weaps, cloths... anything. I dont have that ''oper_tool'' Please if someone can help me! :)
