Nice, but you should consider making it in flash. If I enter 5 seconds, it actually took me 12 seconds before I heard the beep :P. Also, I don't think one beep is enough...maybe try to control the PC beep ;)

The loop counter thing, on the sound seem off also, watch it for a while, it sometimes counts in the middle and when it re-starts, giving you 2 counts for 1 sound literally.

Edit: same problem as daevius, although it gets to our time, the refresh can take it's time... meaning it's off.

oh man that IS a very annoying sound!

Consider making a ringing kind of sound, like how edison did with the phone? or maybe something more pleasant, yet still notifying.

ok, im working on developing a way to make the sound and page load faster. (Using a easy flash player) and make a more delighting sound.

Nice, I like it now... Almost.

You should make the sound come up in a pop-up (or _blank) Or have a back/continue button so the user isn't encouraged to leave your site after they're done hearing the alarm.

No matter what kind of website you have, it's always a goal to keep the users you have.

Re: AlertMe - A online designed alert timer.

It doesn't work in Safari Browser... Almost everyone with a Mac uses Safari, so that's actually a problem. I think the browser has a built in pop-up blocker that's not very in-your-face about blocking pop-ups. If I didn't know better, I'd think the space-time continuum was interrupted by your application. lol.. jk

    So here's my idea:
Try to make it with 1 format, 1 window, and no redirects.
I came across a cool one of these done in flash.

    http://www.online-stopwatch.com/

Check it out. maybe you can get an idea for user-friendliness from this.
