Hello again! I made another program. Actually, it's pretty old. I designed it at an old job I used to work at.
Well, here's the story: My employer decided to change every wallpaper in the building to their corporate blue wallpaper. I suppose there were a few employees who had inappropriate things on their desktop. Anyway, they disabled the ability to change the background, and if someone figured out how to get passed the lock, they made a script that would switch it back (usually every 30 minutes). So, I designed a program that would circumvent that.
Wallpaper Defender!
This program allows one to set their wallpaper to whatever they want (regardless of locks) and keeps the wallpaper up forever (until the user changes it). It also has the option to change the login background!
I made Wallpaper Defender run as a service in Windows XP. So, even if you reboot, it'll automatically load in the background. I programmed it in a way that even if you tried to delete references to Wallpaper Defender in the registry, it'll rewrite itself back (kinda like a virus!).
Anyway, here's the source code! The EXE can also be found in the source code. I believe it's in both the Release and Debug folder.
Enjoy!
My next project will probably be a 3D game using the Ogre 3D engine! Wish me luck!
