Re-read that quote to yourself for a second.
"You found out that the stylesheet was somebody else's work. "
You see the problem with that, don't you? It's not just a play on words. You actually stated, knowingly I might add, that it had occurred to you that the stylesheet in use on your web-site, actually wasn't designed by you.
Can you enlighten me on how this confusion arose? Obviously when you received the CSS from LuckyStevens, you knew it wasn't designed by you. Never did you give credit to LuckyStevens, well not until somebody said something.
You didn't find out, "that the stylesheet was actually someone else's work", you knew it all along. Once you got caught, you tried to push the blaim on the person you should have been giving credit to. If you would've done that in the first place, the tension would be aimed at him, and not you.
As of right now, it's far too late to save yourself from this one. Just bite the bullet, as they say, and apologize rather then argue. Happens to the best of us; For we all make mistakes- And I'm willing to forgive you. I can't speak for everyone, but if you continue, with this rant, I won't be able to speak for myself either.
