My project ( Need your opinion! )

I am working on an original template for my site.

Before I give you the first screenshot, of what I have so far,
I will say that I do accept constructive criticism.

I think I may change the background colour to something lighter, what do you think?

The navigation bar is scroll down :)

Center it, looks nice though.
Maybe add a banner above and make that like 1/3 down the page.
That is also depending on what the site is for.

Oh I'm very sorry, the site will be a sort of online shop.

I'm not having the tools coded in myself (e.g. Shopping cart) I am only coding the template

Nice, would need a light colour for the content box then in my opinion. Like smiliar to white.

I actually.. decided on a different theme, I will make a gaming network sort of site.

Here's what I got, yes, it does look terrible.

Getting better already, make the menu smaller, I wouldn't go for a full screen web page, it's just too wide imo.

Try doing something fancy with the title, it's a huge focus point.

IE doesn't seem to show the navigator on the site, so I stole this one from a thread in the mc section
