    .NET Browser | V6.1.1 | Advanced Browser

    Hi, i was boored and same time tired of those browsers made in VB where the owner said its an advanced web-browser just because it has tabs, i mean tabs is one of the easiest way to make. So i thought i could make my own browser and tbh i dont use it because IE7 and FF is better so this is just to show off my skills i think.

    Tip Nr. 1 - Use c++
    Tip Nr. 2 - Write your own engine
    Tip Nr. 3 - Don't use "fade in effect"/transparency in browser, it's not needed in browser.

    1. VB can be as good as c++, no diffrence just harder.
    2. I really want to, but have no idea on how to.
    3. I think its pretty cool, and this browser isnt a pro browser lol.

    If it had no difference why would people use c++ ?

    You should edit your post.

    Because people think its better, and btw if you really CAN use VB then c++ is not better. but if u CANNOT use VB then c++ is better.... it depends on how good u are and how you code things.

    Well, this is wrong mate. It depends on WHAT you are coding. Business applications with some databases and stuff like that. VB.NET is ideal for that.

    Applications which needs speed - VB is not an option. Also. Browsers are for all users, for casual computer users who might not have .NET installed. They will rather choose another browser/applications then install some unknown for them .NET.

    As for my subjective thoughts. I hate VB. I hate it since first version, BASIC. Syntax suck so much that it is pain in the ass to write something with it. C syntax is MUCH, MUCH better imo. I rather use Delphi then VB. Delphi is faster, does not req any framework.

    If you like to code in VB it's OK. Only idiots will judge you by the language you are coding it. Programming language is like religion to most programmers. They just like what they like despite everything. But don't say that VB is better in C++. Maybe it is better in 10 aspects, but C++ is better in 10 times more aspects then that.

    VB is good
    C++ is good

    Ive never said the VB is better. If VB is 10/10 hen c++ is 10/10 too.. if c++ is 100/100 then vb is 100/100 too.

    Tyler, you need to mark the text first.

    You're strange.
    Don't worry, you will understand it later on, when you will move off the WebBrowser1.Navigate programs.
