Quite slow and looks like it doesnt allow direct images heh
damn it, i men, the host dosnt allow it i think :/
From the top of the link:
So add a blank index.html to the "upload" directory? You're seeing this page because account contains no index file. (EG: index.htm)
Impression i got from the message is that they dont allow "open directories" which could potentially be used as a warez download index or something.
Oi... Haven't you ever heard the story of The Image That Killed The Internet?
Actually me and my dad made it up, but here's the quick version:
Once there was an interface that gave it's users the ultimate user interface. Users could put text, images, music, videos, anything they could ever want to put there. The purpose of this interface is to be userfriendly, and to give users a good experience.
One day, a user signed up by the name of Naughty Dave. Dave wasn't very smart with technical stuff, so all of his images were bitmaps made in paint. The size was the default paint size. So Dave uploaded all of his images from his computer. (aprox. 50,000,000 bytes of data)
Since the interface was soooo userfriendly, it had no limit to what users could upload. Now: the hosting service holding the interface, only allowed a little bit of space. All of the images added together from this SINGLE user violated the bandwidth limit just while trying to upload! Needless to say, the server was trying to do more then it could, and died. (lol can't really happen, but work with me here!) Now that the terms were vioated, the interface's hosting service was banned for 1 month, and many users had their profiles, images, videos, and music removed. Also, the once user-friendly interface, now has require a payment all so they could pay for that single user's mistake. Should've varrified the script, right?..
By the time the suspension ended, all of his users switched to another service.
What to learn from this: Security always overrides functions. I just uploaded an image over 1,000,000 bytes in size. You really need to restrict any image that excedes 1m bytes. Also, there is no reason to allow bitmap images. Kindly tell your users that bitmaps are too large, and aren't compact enough for the web. But of corse, now that you made a restriction, you need a substitute. For people that don't know about .PNGs or .GIFs or .JPEGs, you should put an HTML page teaching them how to "Save As..".
Good work though!
Oh, and you might want to delete this image:
