    It was NOT there, besides, you're showing off THEIR work, not yours.

    Well he never claimed he didn't use free software to create his site. I don't know if the disclaimer was there, but it is now.. Also, he never claimed to have made the engine behind the works. He is presenting his Bolg & Web Site. What better tool to create a site than a CMS/Browser Based Visual Editor? [The first site I ever made was with freewebs. Also was just enough for my first web design teacher to start me in a higher level class- which progressed me into who I am today.]

    Eh, it's just a higher level language in my opinion. Something easy to get you started on a hobby. If he continues seriously, it may even become a career path. Visit forums about internet marketing and you'll never see this sort of treatment to webmanagers. You don't need to know any coding to make a web site. You don't even need to code HTML. Most internet marketers - people who actually professionally host a web site and know their shit, use Wordpress and likewise CMS engines to create theirs & their client's sites.

    In fact, I relate using a CMS a little to coding in VB, because he's using software to create software; which every programmer does. Just admire the web host and try to make good software built for developing software like they did.

    It's not a crime (or unethical) to use a visual editor & a graphical environment to build a site. God forbid you built it with an online system. I wish I could make something user friendly enough for people to do this with my stuff.

    Am I right? Am I Right?

    Move Forward with what you got; Get better.

    I did not claimed that it was my creation, in fact I'm just presenting it as my blog and personal website. Can you quote a little phrase to prove that I claimed it?

    s-p-n - Thanks man! yeah I'm using PHP-Cake at this moment......

    @Cobra, Touche.

    I was being a wise ass, but he claimed he made his blog & Website.

    I even looked at the CMS work in his portfolio. He never claimed to do something he didn't do. That's a bit honorable.

    @thebarcode, This is the Showcase Section of Coder's Paradise, and you should sort of expect comments like those if you're not doing any coding ;)

    Maybe be clear you're presenting the content rather then the engine, graphics, or layout. Here, that's what people expect developers to be working on, likewise that's what they look at and criticize.

    Good luck though ;)
