Website looks alright. Better than a lot of stuff I've seen on here.

When using Pingdom, google reports a 408ms load time, whereas thumbtools.com reports 3.61s load time.
So your site is apparently ~885% slower than google.com.

Maybe not using inline CSS and not putting javascript outside of the html tag would help a tad ;).

Also, get a theme up on PHPBB.

Homepage looks pretty nice. I suggest adding a hover effect to the Join Us button.

Why is there a quotation mark in the center of the first sentence? If it is a quote, may I suggest saying who originally said it, and moving the quotation mark to the left of the first sentence, instead of having it in the center.

The profile pages look pretty nice. But I don't see a need to open a profile in a new tab/window when you click one on the profile listing page.

Fully secure your SQL [ex. on registration page].
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ';';"1-1','e2a17fdbc99c0c517b84ccdc9bc91d25','publisher','0','44af17f7eeb1ad397af' at line 1
Also, the capcha hurts my brain more than most capchas.
And from what I can tell, entering the capcha incorrectly only gives you the error "an input is missing". Make the error more specific ;).

Thanks Time! I've looked at those and made the fixes where necessary! The rest are in queue! To those who are curious how the SQL problem was fixed: a simple mistake of mine adding 'echo mysql_error()' on the script, this is when performing debugs.

I've made changes yet again to the homepage. If you're not seeing the image pictured below meaning the homepage is not yet fully compatible with your browser, I'm currently working on cross-compatibility feature for the designs.

More on a business note, but what is your take of the sale? For example I may sell my advertising space for £9 CPM, how much of this would I actually receive?

Re: [Showcase]Thumbtools.com - Direct Ad Sales

Hi, thanks for the interest! To answer you question: you will receive 92% of your total sales, only 8% commission fee is charged for every successful purchase made by advertisers so that means for the price of £10 you will receive £9.2 and you can cashout any time you want by wire-transfer, PayPal, or cheque!

Currently components to support CPM based ads as well as other advertising models are being developed, if you want an update on this simply subscribe to the newsletter and I will deliver the news as soon as the development is finished!

How much uniques are you getting a month and who are your intended audiences?

I'm also working on a scalable UI at the moment which will be done soon, surely it will improve the usability of the website.

Re: [Showcase]Thumbtools.com - Direct Ad Sales

Not as of yet because ads are sold at a fixed rate. Perhaps the main advantage for your advertisers in this case is that there will be no additional cost for every number of clicks or impressions that goes above expectations but you, however, will still be paid the same amount regardless if the ad has gotten less clicks or impressions than expected, so that's the gamble involved.

I think ad farming and forced clicks are a good approach to advertising, it's progressive and it doubles the effect. I'm carefully implementing PPC and CPV solutions at the moment. I'll keep you up dated about the progress, until it's up and running I can't tell any details about policies that might apply but I'm sure it won't be strict.

How much advertising demand are you getting at the moment?

Hi! I've come to post some updates from Thumbtools. It now supports Video and Rotating display ads! The ads also are now deployed in different servers to reduce the latency in data handling. Other features are in development and will soon be deployed to further enhance the capacity of the product.

    Cheers!

Here is a latest screenshot of the control panel for publishers featuring a semi elegant UI!
The new template instalment enables expandable browsing of the website which also gives us the flexibility in controlling the distribution of the contents to keep it looking elegant and convenient, other features will be soon integrated especially features for mobile devices such as Ipads &c.

If you like the new template let me know!

    Thanks! :)

How come the homepage now looks like the panel?

Kinda ugly for the main site.

Re: [Showcase]Thumbtools.com - Direct Ad Sales

I'm sorry to disappoint. The big drawback with the previous template was that it was difficult to manage and also wasn't prepared for extended development. This new instalment features a generous space where tools will placed. I have yet to enrich those spaces with the following features to come.

Here's a new screenshot of the control panel I am working on featuring the semi-enriched line chart:
