Your 12 years old..?
How does being Dutch affect your 'HTML Skills'?Originally Posted by Web
I suppose it's good for a first attempt, but I do not like the picture of wires on the content boxes..
Use a PHP Editor
Bye a Domain.
thanks for credits and you should change background where the text displays
some text cant be read like that :winky:
Yeah, it needs alot more refining, i also see that =]
Well, the Dutch things, affects maybe my English quality's?
Most people in my class cant even speak in normal English sentences.
Im gonna un-link the header, change the wires.
I changed the body image, i set the header to border="0" so i dont get the ugly blue border around it =]
And passie, i set background-color: white; around the copyright =]
Instead of the dark wires, i added a cartoon-y lightning bolt.
I also wanna know:
I am using alot of includes with PHP, i dont hope i over-include it, so theres a few lines of code left =P
I just dont wanna change all of the code for each page over and over.
little help from dreamweaver 8 ?
lol, with this program you don't even have to learn HTML !! XDD
Are you trying to say i didnt do a thing?
My old PC with dreamweaver crashed, i wrote the current site by hand, from my old design (imageless).
So i think i need to change that part =]
Every good web designer does that, anyone who uses Dreamweaver or similair programs for making sites has no clue on making a good flexible yet strict site.
Also, I had that too, when I was 12 only 2 or 3 in my class spoke english, though I never mentioned that to anyone...as if I'd say "Look me! I'm soo young and I do soo good, worship me!"
The problem with young programmers is (including me), that learning takes long in the beginning. If you start later you learn much quicker and your code often looks much better, you also invest more serious time in it. Starting young has it advantages though, you are really motivated then and have a basic knowledge of programming languages while others still have to start.
Well, i dont mean to brag with it, but i think its kinda mentionworthy..
Ok, maybe i was a little too proud on myself >.>
I changed some more things, added a hitcounter, and some more things =)
Check it =]
Personally I don't care what the others say I think its mighty good for a first website !
I been designing websites for about 5 years now I still suck I use like PhotoShop CS 2 and Dreamweaver MX for sites but right now my design site is using div layers and css.
This link will take you to a video I made teaching you how to make a basic div/css layout in less then 10mins using dreamweaver mx
