    Starting C#!

Started C# two days ago ^_^
    What I've made:
First day: Text Parser. Goes through IRC Logs, searches for the person I entered, removes time/date, and prints all those lines into a text box, which you can save. Also allows options for loading
    Second Day: RPG!!! YAYZ! xD
Actually got quite far for my first day. Added in the whole GUI, melee battle system for user, and full battle system for NPCs. Adding in weapons probably later tonight.

Well, you may wanna ask yourself:
Did i create this, or did i create this with the help from a superdetailed guide. If it is the last, you should probebly try out some more. If it is the first, then your a great leaner ;)

This guy is lieing and it's so obvious. You don't learn how to go through texts and especially don't learn how to make RPG's in just one day.
In the first week you learn how the language is used, what it can do, and how to use functions. You just posting this here, already proves you don't really have the intention to learn the language, just that you want others to think you know it. (which I dont understand, since the truth comes out eventually).
I learned C++, which took me about 3 months to understand the basics and another 3 months to feel at home.

Working with it for more then a year and I still find new things, though I can I say I'm getting comfortable with it now.

The guy who created Delphi back in the days created C# as modern language. Delphi is very good programming language IDD. But I think that C# is as good as it. Also C# is easier to learn, IMO.

You all have such great opinions today

    - This one's especially interesting,

C++ isn't as visual as C#. In fact.. Isn't C++ to BASIC as C# is to Visual BASIC? I think I saw some study that said most humans learn & work better visually. It is easier to design a GUI if all of the icons are staring you in the face screaming, "Drag & Drop Me to The Stage for instant results!" I know it's hard to open up one of those programs for the first time, see the icon that says "WebBrowserSomething." Yeah.. Try not making a web browser. Maybe it's just me :P Oh, the software I love to hate

Makes me wonder.. What programming languages do you know, 9000234, when did you start learning your first programming language, what was it, and can you really learn as fast (or faster) as I?

    This comment sticks out too,

    Makes me think..

I learned like 75% of my personal programming logic & tactics through free, online content. Even though I use tutorials and what-not to learn little things along the way, the notes & knowledge I keep from each piece of content gets saved as I progress.

My hard-drive reflects this as it nears it's limits..

Good luck man, keep learning, doing tutorials, and improving. Don't forget to mix & match things you learn to really, truly get something out of it. I wish you the best of luck

Rofl, I used Java, Visual Basic, and C++ lots before I started c#
And I didn't use any tutorials. Used the MSDN Documentation a few times, but that's it ^_^
