[TWILT][VB.NET]Twitter music application

Coded in vb.net (don't hate) using twitter oauth api and windows media player classes, this application allows you to select MP3 files on your computer and play them through the application, then it tweets in real time, what your listening to. It's a simple application and its inspired by an application that was shown on this forum called "Leep", however this is coded from scratch just with the same concept.

[FIXED] The textbox doesn't clear when you do a manual tweet.
[FIXED] Refresh isn't actually refreshing the timeline.
[FIXED] Manual tweet doesn't do a notification bubble

[FIXED] No album art clears the picturebox.

[ADDED] Auto loads playlist/playlist.txt on application startup.
[ADDED] Save playlist to playlist/playlist.txt.


[-] First MP3 uses its file name not song name. [ It should be song name ]
[-] Song history goes in ASC order, i would prefer DESC order.
[-] Delete selected song from playlist.
[-] Add shuffle function.
[-] Add repeat function.

[-] Means still needs work but has been looked at.

SVN is up to date but the MSI, and ZIP files aren't

Why does it have to be installed? And any particular reason why you chose to keep it closed source?

i made it installer for those who cant understand how to install .net framework 4.0 and im more than willing to make it OS if people would be interested in it, considering its .NET anybody can use a reflector.

You should make it available without the installer as well. Also, I would love to study the source code, but reflectors turn it into barely readable garbage.

Agreed and I'll make the source available ASAP then, perhaps google code svn as I do plan on making many updates to this project. Thanks for the interest. I will also make a zip file available, the release was a little rushed because I'm currently intoxicated.

I've noticed a few bugs from using it, minor bugs but ones i still need to fix, and some things i just want to add.

The textbox doesnt clear when you do a manual tweet
Refresh isnt actually refreshing the timeline
Manual tweet doesnt do a notification bubble
Manual tweet doesnt refresh timeline
When it tweets what your listening to it doesnt refresh timeline after sending tweet
If the MP3 file doesnt have an album art then it keeps the old one making it incorrect
The first song played doesnt do the correct song name it does the MP3 file name
Need to add shuffle
Need to add repeat
Need an option to remember playlist so you dont have to select the same ones every time you start it up
Doesnt start the next song at the end of the one that was playing...
Song history goes in ASC order, i would prefer DESC order
