and to those who tried to help me on my MySQL problem: I am using Wamp on my pc, but I think that the php scripts doesn't like me not using DB password, gonna try later to reinstall with password.

I'm aiming for design first, later I go for features etc.

Try reading up/using DIV's. They are alot more neat and give the same effect as tables (IF used properly).

Yup divs are way better. Also try to give your divs classes and define the classes in a CSS file, this way you will keep your code and layout seperated which will make it alot better to read when the site gets big.

As the great Daevius once said; Tables are for tabular data (didn't he?), don't use them for layouts!

Like already said, table arent for layout :x and, I read one time that tables must have <tbody> tag, I cant say for sure thought, also the links makes the layout float a little when you mouse over them, thats never a good thing, layout should not float ;]
Other then that, it looks fine :)

Some table layouts work out if you know what you're doing..

I prefer DIVs now but I'm still very good with tables.
Yes, tables are best for tabular data, like forums/phpMyAdmin type things.. Datafields.. etc.

For this kind of layout, just use a div.. It's easier to learn and work with properly. Tables take allot of know-how to really get right.

    Consider working with a template?
