What MMO would you like to see an emulator for?

Emulators are nearly useless for private servers without proper funding anyways.

The only MMO with a REAL emulator(not based on official code) that is stable/featured enough for a decent private server is WoW. The only reason WoW was able to build a fully functional emulator was that it had 10x the amount of players that any other MMO at the time had(more talented coders come from bigger environments).

I have yet to see a non-WoW private server using a REAL emulator that holds 1k+ players in one server.

Eve has many concepts of gameplay, not just global econ and pvp, PVe is a big part, and the market can be seeded as CCP does.

Yes wow does have the advantage for having more players to create a emu, but dont count the little guys out, with all the changes in eve, thousands of players are quiting cause of what CCP is doing, we get a few floating by every day in our IRC.

This is true, EVE does have a large playerbase and generally more tech oriented users than WoW. I still wouldn't recommend starting without official source(even partial would help a lot). Even WoW emus are pretty damn messy due to inexperienced coders working with the base.

I'm pretty sure mapleshit has that, and I know there's private GunZ Online EMU's that do.
