Anyone found a solution how to disable "Respawn" script server-side ?
Because i removed in dbloadplayer.sqf from mpmission and from server/data and still server crashes ...
Anyone with an idea ?
I downloaded everything, but I do not know what I do now to run the server ...What steps do I need to perform to install the server?

Hello people, hope you are getting somewhere with this modding
-I have noticed that many people have been having alot of issues getting thier servers up and running properly configured. eg the respawn function and save system + random server crashes.
-As this is the last release of a DayZ server and it will be the LAST bit that uses SQF, I'm willing to share a very stable and ready to play DayZ server + Client with you guys.
- I want your votes so i can decide if i want to relaese this client + server. The only reason i want your vote is because i dont have much free time and for now there is no reason to continue working on SQF/Legacy code from Arma 2 since it will not function with Enf/Enfusion engine which is very close to being a full product and possibly the major update that will save DayZ SA.
- With all that being said, you can click here and give me your vote weather you wish to have this client + server that includes a fully working PvE with mods from Arma 2, 23 new weapons done by a member from the DayZ RU communtiy
Progress on the client + Server so far:
GOOD:
-Respawn issues have been fully fixed-Random server crashes due to storage errors have been resolved. -Client has a modifed UI (very limited modifications at the moment but will include more)-new weapons (Will include screenshots with the full release)
-Save system fully functional (does have random items from inventory disappear but very rarely only with few Misc items)
-Only players who have the CORRECT pbos will be able to join (All Pbos are signed and signature check is ON to stop people from pbo hacking)
BAD/Work-In-Progress:
- The loot system is functional but NOT modifiable due to not having a proper system (like the offical dayz Hive/ Loot economy tools) This means that if you add new items via Addons they will not be respawned and included in the loot-table BUT you are able to add them to the .xml files to configure thier lifetime (How long they stay/when to despawn). The only way is to add a manual respawn like a helicrash script OR a random event (Tank wrecks, UAZ random spawns all across chernarus).
- Only method to connect to your server is via .bat which includes launch parameteres. Now if you have the knowledge in C+, you can make your own launcher but it is difficult and a headache.
- Battleye CAN NOT be used on your server, unfortunately Battleye anti-cheat system can not be used since this is a cracked .exe and it is on a BLACK LIST/ BAN LIST which means Bohemia has it blocked from connecting to Battleye services.
(The client can not run battleye because the .exe is on a ban list from using BE services this also means people will be able to use Cheat Engine and speedhack but this is an onging issue with all the cracked .61 clients and servers)Now you could use an older carcked battleye service from 0.45 but it is in no use, very outdated and it won't stop cheaters. However, it will stop people from injecting/hooking Cheat Engine onto the DayZ client.

Nope, we're getting nowhere with modding. The respawn issue with server crash is a pain-in-the-ass-problem, and still didn't figure how to remove the "RESPAWN" function from server side.
Actually it's the very main issue of this server.

There are in storage_x folder, depeding what you choose for InstanceID in config.
Its the vehicles.bin or containers.bin, a compressed file which can't be edited ATM.

If I add new vehicles or storage, they will be saved automatically?

Depends how you will add it.
Default they are added via event with a timer. This means the vehicle is spawned somewhere random (defined in the server/config.cpp) and will last by a certain time untill despawned.
The good part is they change with every spawning, renewing their durability.
The bad part is you can't add events or server don't read events.xml to add a custom vehicle.
You can add of course via script, but the vehicle will not respawn, and also with every restart another vechicle is added at the location x,y,z over the old one, so you must run this script once.
And yes, they are saved automatically.

Nice work, but this is not helping with running mods, you need to add an option to run -mod. so a feild for adding mods would be good to have since this crack dayz is going to use mods
Why use mods when the original server is not working good?
