Hi IngfredRoM and all others :-)

When I start the RGZClient_v4.0 I get Client Version not match when login.
Should I edit some files in Client?
I already put IP 127.0.0.1 in RuneDev.ini.
When I start Client.exe it shows me in Launcher Version 6.0.7. How is this possible? I thought it was V4.0 Client.

into your RuneDev.ini file, that avoids the "client version doesn't match"


RebelGamez Client v4.0 means, that it is Domo's 4.0 version, not Runes of magic 4.0..
Not recommended to use this client, many errors may appear, better use official RoM client, there are many downloads in the web for a 4.0.x client.

I Put it in.
Now everytime I start the Client my RuneDev.ini replaces my Server IP with another one.
How can I avoid this?

Make a shortcut of the client.exe then on the shortcut, right-click and select properties.

Type NoCheckVersion after "C:\Runes of Magic\Client.exe" so it should look like "C:\Runes of Magic\Client.exe" NoCheckVersion

The path will be whatever path your Rom client folder is and named. My above path is just an example. Be sure to use the correct path your rom folder is located.

You can also make the RuneDev.ini a read only file.

Who knows? Npc, what gives Quests on Elite skills is not working, Guild Castles (can't build), Loot from bosses is not working too, Don't work any skills (ex. Holy Strike), don't work exp balls and tp balls, and, who knows, how up server to 5-6 chapter and who knows, how i can know bosses and monsers id? because http://ru.runesdatabase.com/ is not fully(

@theDomo Bahh you do not give importance, I do not think they are as friendly as you and they give us some file emulator for the forum. And now there are better games than the ROM, this is the real competition.

It depends on the version they use are filled with hackers XD. (I'm a good ROM hacker, I know of what I speak, more hackers are looking for earlier version to hack and dupe)

anyways back on topic you do not have to run scripts to FDB you simply just have to open up your global ini
and add this:
LuaPath = "C:\Rom\Resource\LuaScript"
IsLoadfdbLuaScript = 0
IsLoadTxtLuaScript = 1
