Hello,

i am searching for a way to repack the files into the interface.fdb.
i need this because i edited some icons.
When i use the repacker the files would not be compressed.
is there a way to do this?

It would be nice if someone could help me with my problem.

1. you dont really need to compress files within the repacker, its just saving some mb's but honestly no one cares
2. you need a repacker itself in order to bring your changes into your client.
3. If you dont have a patch server / you cant make patches because a. you dont have the tools and b. you dont know how to make them, forget to get any active server running (just an honest respont)
4. If you just have your own server for you own and bbecause of fun, you would like to see your changes for your client only, you actually dont need to repack any files. AddOns are only working because in the interface.db there already is an addon folder. You can get all your changes running if your able to implement the folder structure of the original fdb's. You need to rename everything to how is is, but you can just swap files without repacking (again: only usefull for local fun!)

I also can edit luas and pack it back with the repacker i have.
But when i pack the tga files this is not working. when i extract it again the tga files are broken.
i use the same repacker as for the data.fdb
i think i don't need a patch Server because i wrote my own Patcher.

@andelwol26
i know your problem do the steps in order.
1-for example ra_logo.tga telling for the file
2-Open the ra_logo.tga file from interface.fdb with photoshop
3-you should see the resolution of the file after seeing. for example 516x325
4-create new file of these sizes
5-and make your new logo there
6-save as .png after you're done
7-https://convertio.co/png-tga/ from this address convert picture

note:it is important to make sure that the image resolution is the same!
