Wait so. This is not windows 8 compatible?
Wolfy if you get the solution to running a server with Hamachi without that Authentication Error Please let me know the fix. I too have a local server but would like it Hamachi, thanks in advance.
Mk. This is how to run it on Hamachi.
../9Data/ServerInfo/test_ServerInfo.txt = Hamachi IP
../9Data/ServerInfo/test_Manager_ServerInfo.txt = Hamachi IP
../REST/OdinRestServerSettings.shn = 127.0.0.1
I changed every single IP address except the patch ip addresses to my hamachi address. Even they didn't need to be changed. I then left the rest .shn IP address as 127.0.0.1. Thanks for Crystalz for the tip.

I'm willing to help lemme just sort it out.
@F1ow: Did you make sure to hexedit your GameLog Release.exe? As installing the services make sure you run them as admin, unless you're on Windows XP.
@xMau5: Are you running on a 32 bit or 64 bit comp? If its 64 bit make sure to use the ODBC exe located here Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe instead of the one shown in start search.
@anquietas: Can you post a screenshot of your version error for me?
@Zidro: Are you seeing the error message when using the client? If so are you behind a router or using hamachi? Also make sure your config files have the correct ips set, and to be safe delete and reinstall them.
Man , the authentication failed error is annoying , i tried everything like hamachi , not haveing any ports 80 on and stuff. im not really sure whats the problem with it , i started it with bats and things , services on(Only Got all of them on + 1 Zone) and it still pops out and stuff O.o. any way to fix this x.x?
Make sure your REST SHN has the IP set to 127.0.0.1, also make sure all IP addresses are set to your Hamachi IP in both test_ServerInfo.txt and test_Manager_ServerInfo.txt. If those are correct, and mind you I dont know how familiar you are with Hamachi, but make sure you've created a new network and have Hamachi online.Quote:
