I try to learn about sma file,but that seems to be a lot of null entry (fff) then spawn info like you explain in your thread about sma. You say the main part is about shop and some others but it's like a binary ff format on hex edit, how do you decrypt that exactely? with bin editor?

Atm i got all spawn and scout guard working too,always pad not working

To make it clear, i use custom tools, looking for an existing tool to do the work for you is in vain. If you dont know what you need, i can give you a simple idea by telling you what my tool does. So, you might have noticed that all files consist of headers + tables of data. The tables have a fixed record length and usually a fixed rows count. What my tool does and any decent tool that reads many files that follow a predetermined structure is:

reading many types of fields (int, float, string etc),
focusing on important data (you might encounter 3 fields of 4 bytes each in a 100 byte record, theres no need to store the whole record),
using an offset to determine where each field is so that fields dont have to be continuous, in order to avoid unnecessary fields,
passing each row in a datatable so that the data can easily be manipulated and seen in a data grid view,
having an easy way to declare new records or edit existing ones.

Theres some more stuff but anyway. After all as ive said im not releasing this tool, but even if i did it would be a limited edition so lets not talk about my tools but yours and the way to use them or at least what to aim for. So when idk what something is at all i just find the record length (there are always clues to determine it) and then read all records. When you have all the data in a view like that of mssql its easy to find similarities and eventually understand what the data you have is in fact. Also, rows count can help a lot. If you have 65536 rows of data its most likely a 256 x 256 map, a 2d array of these rows. And in that case you can make the values visible by making a 256 x 256 bitmap for example, with different colors for each value. So you need something that can do all these things. If you need it so badly just make it yourself, its not that hard i have to say.

I think ive said too much stuff about it, there was noone explaining me this stuff in such detail but i figured out what each file means before (almost) anyone. This means you dont really need all this help if you use your brains more.

To be honest atm i try to determine where i can find on sma the Building index of supply shop,for test i use 4010.sma (nubarke cave) on my database i got 262 for the building index,so i try to find a way to determine what the npc server read on sma to edit it partially,don't know if i follow a good way

Does the pad work for this map? If it doesnt youll never find the building number. An easier approach is to read somehow the file and make a list of records. Most of them should be the same so just concentrate on those that are different from others. Just somehow (even in a basic c program) make a loop to read 79 bytes each time (beginning from the offset) and then write a line with the hex of them and the record index. Even this basic thing could help a lot.
