And about that version of client, sadly i dont remember it. But size was 2.3gb for sure, if you go through an AO forum you can find when episode 3.3 came out , and try to search through a date's on gamershell and sites like that.

There is the way to solve the problem of field server crash on ms activated :

The problem is the AIC of win 7:

To solve it :

Add pre,im,log,field to exeption of système protection then you will have no more problem exept that for moment i got PS on alphard,denebola and polaris, i suppose db entries on sp are wrong.

ps : this will solve the first and second entrie of each mother ship, always have some problem with 3 4 5

And my pad and base alt+click problem always persist.

I see in the database that there are 10 MS type with different value by side. When i modify the values of one who work correctly the field server crash,so i suppose that it's the same about the other who not work, is anyone got the exact value of the other mothership?

Actually the reason why town waps dont work is that they try to send you to some 9999 map, i suppose its a special value. About pads, the problem is in smas, so the two problems are irrelevant. The format of dats and smas is completely compatible for any version of the game tho. Unless they did something in the last update (it was huuuge).
