    Setting the Presentation Interval to immediate should be enough to get rid of V-Sync unless you added more conflicting settings. You misplaced it most likely though.

    There's very easy to find online documentation about upgrading to newer versions of DirectX, e.g. : Moving from DirectX 9 to DirectX 11
