Issues with PreServer[Solved]

Trying to set up a ep4.x server , an can get past PreServer error
What am i doing wrong ? Ive checked an remade the password an user names several times.

Try to user 127.0.0.1 as IP
Or try to xor encode user/password

Well if you could read the logs, you will know the Error^^
The server can't connect to the DB Server

But the password for the DB is correct

Then start troubleshooting. I feel this question is very similar to the one you asked here.

• Is the Firewall the Problem? Disable it for a moment and check if the connection works. If it does, enabled the Ports that you configured for the SQL Server.
• Can you yourself connect to the database with the given credentials? (Enter them in the Server Object Explorer start dialog)
• Is the DB Network Configuration configured properly? Check for duplicated ports and the right IP everywhere. Ping it from outside. ...
