So I followed the provided one click tutorial... but I can't figure out how to create an account. Connecting with heideisql doesn't show any tables for the server.

There seem to be some (hopefully temporary) issues with the direct link. I managed to download the iso using this link instead of the direct link in the first post.

Thanks for the link I was able to download the iso now but I'm having another problem. On the package manager it gives me a "bad archive mirror" error. Any ideas for this?

I had the same problem.I had to change network to vmnet 0 and configure it to use my network card.I am running from a dual xeon server which has 10 network cards/wireless and 3 vpn's that worked out as usually it picks the wrong card.

Ok i got my server setup everything.Only problem i have is when i log into the server it gets stuck on logon screen.I have tried everything possible.I reinstalled,tried oracle and vmware and both have the same issue.Any idea why?
May it be because i use an old client?

Yes you can, but I really like to use Hamachi to play with my friends, it's very easy to do.
I will make a tutorial how make a AKserver with hamachi.
