NO, don't do that... you need the external IP in those tables.

There should be some errors in the WorldServer or ZoneServer logs.

Not sure what that error means, maybe @Eperty123 or @Hycker would know. Let's wait for a response from them.

Don't bother starting up the client in till you know for sure all of your test.log.#### in Login,Gateway, Missionserver, Gameserver, Zoneserver doesn't throw out errors. Make sure there isn't any errors on all current test.log.###### once you know that everything is good to go than launch up the client.

As for your Main.log it say you are logging in with 192.168.1.99 [LoginServer IP] While your [WorldServer IP] is 177.99.151.157 is your connect.ini in your client correct with your IP? (Common misconfig)

Make sure you hexed your Login,Missionserver,Worldserver,Zoneserver (The clean uncompressed file) with Eperty's tool HERE if you do not know how to hexed. (If you using anything other than 192.168.0.X or 192.168.1.X)

If you are using Hycker's server files make sure you are using his client as well.....
    His Note:
NOTE: This tested only on LAN. Able to login and play. i dunno about bugs, probably there is some.
on WAN, there is version error even you change version in database. needs to find matching client for it.
Translate client is easy. if any1 finds i can make it in 5 minutes

Re: Connection to the server failed. (1)

So, the connect.ini is with the IP right yes. 192.168.1.99 is the IP of my VM, I can only do the login, when I put that IP in connect.ini.
And I also am already using the files, LoginServer, Missionserver, WorldServer, Zoneserver with IP 192.168.1.X = C0A801.
I'm using the version of Eperty123.

I'll leave the log files here:

    GatewayServer test.log

Re: Connection to the server failed. (1)

@Kimuchan No your connect.ini have to be the same IP in your FFaccount world config. NOT 192.168.1.99 if you are using 177.99.151.157 in your FFAccount then your connect.ini is suppose to be 177.99.151.157 as well.

However, if 177.99.151.157 is your external IP then do not use it!!! Its suppose to be your LAN IP make sure you are using Linux LAN IP and config both FFAccount and FFDB IP to be your LAN IP. If you want to make the server to WAN so people can connect make THEN you can change the FFAccount World config to your External IP

As for your Zoneserver log, I was right your IP config is not right.
    Code:
       400,2016/02/10 07:16:06,Server is rolling on TCP 0.0.0.0:18253856.
       401,2016/02/10 07:16:06,Server is rolling on TCP 0.0.0.0:18282208.
Server is rolling on TCP 0.0.0.0:18253856 is wrong config... your IP is wrong in your FFDB ext_ip its suppose to be your LAN IP unless you hexed it to be your external IP.

Here the break down on IP:
LAN IP is either 192.168.1.X, 192.168.0.X, 10.0.0.X etc etc etc... You can find that by typing ifconfig on Linux's Terminal
WAN IP is your external IP your ISP provide to you for example if you google whatsmyip it will give you, your external IP.
If you are using a VPS with no LAN IP then use the IP that is given to you.

I assume many people who didn't get it to work is because they did not configure it correctly both their FFaccount & FFDB and connect.ini config.

Guys, thank you by help. Problem solved.

The problem was same the ip setting in tables 'serverstatus' and 'world' in ffaccount and ffdb1. I also changed the ip of my VM to 192.168.0.X, must have helped in some way.

But it's still strange, yesterday I had used this same configuration I'm using now, and I do not even spent of login screen ... and now is working everything perfect ..
    But anyway, thanks.

@NanayaQ, you are wrong... if your setting up the server on a VPS or dedicated server you want the IP in the worlds and serverstatus tables to be the external IP.

I've got a server up and running on a VPS, @Eperty123 and @Hycker can both confirm, since they helped me.

First of all OP did not say anything about connecting to WAN, it just say I cannot connect in which I believe OP is mentioning LAN side. For WAN I already test it for hamachi and external IP so I didn't give much detail about it since it wasn't mention. Also I was in my class so I didn't have time to edit my post....

Would you post your fixed ip settings in tables 'serverstatus' and 'world'? Thanks!
